Kogi state (Education) SSCE

The project studied the comparative study of student performance in agricultural science and chemistry taught at secondary school of Yagba East L.G.A of kogi state, main objective of this research was to make a comparative study between student’s performance in agriculture science and chemistry in senior secondary schools (SSCE) and determine if gender differences has any significant in their performance, secondary data was used from the secondary schools, using T-test for analysis, Ha1 was accepted that there is no significance difference between students’ performance in agricultural science and chemistry science also, the finding indicated that gender have no significant deference in the performance of agricultural and chemistry subject thus, the Ha2 is accepted and was concluded therefore, that there is no significant relationship in the performance and gender of the student in agriculture and chemistry subject at the school with the recommendation that more student be encourage to reading of sciences in the secondary school.
